We've sold a few of copies of Andrew Rawnsley's "The End of the Party"; now we have SIGNED copies!
meanwhile...
Alright, so we're better at finding and selling books than we are at taking photos. While Annie Liebowitz sleeps easily, we've finally finished stocktaking and nearly finished testing our new used book cataloguing software! We've set up a new used book highlights page and will feature exceptional items here on the main page. Exceptional items like our bruised first edition of Dombey and Sonand our fine, signed copy of Isabella Zophie and the Hotel Gastronomic
Working on the used books means we haven't got any special promotions on. We're talking to our suppliers early next week, so for now we can only crow about our preorder offers and awards catalogues, including the Lost Booker Prize shortlist and the British Sport Book Awards.
Barely a couple of months in and 2010 is proving to be a cracker for literary awards. See the winners and the shortlists on ourAwards News page.
What's happened to the Ebay store?
We continue to struggle to find a use for our Ebay shop. If you have any ideas, ideas you could express in front of your mother in church, please let us know.
Is it still 10% off everything?
At least. Our costs are a heckuvalot lower on direct sales. We can pass the savings on to you without affecting our bottom line. If you use one of our discount codes, we'll knock even more off!
Alternative methods of payment: We still accept book vouchers in GBP on books and shipping. We are also thinking of accepting store vouchers (M and S, Boots and the like - no Woolies thanks!). We are also open to the idea of time credits. Please drop us a line if you are a member of a time credit scheme and let us know how you are finding it.
